A week of food specials in Sacramento, CA

But really, are you eating though?

A plate of spaghetti and meatballs from Obo' Italian Table and Bar.

That’s a tasty-looking plate right there.

Table of Contents

We here at SACtoday love a lot of things — it’s hard not to in a city this great — but if we had to narrow it down to only two, saving money and eating delicious food would be our picks.

With that in mind, today we’ve got a whole week of restaurant specials to make your stomach growl.

Meatball Monday 🍝

Obo’ Italian Table and Bar, 3145 Folsom Blvd., 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m.

Start off your week with some tasty Italian eats from Obo, where you can score a deal on pairing an order of meatballs with pizza, pasta, or polenta (you can also get a meatball sandwich, but that really ruins the alliteration we were going for).

Taco Tuesday 🌮

Chando’s Tacos, Locations vary, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

You can’t go wrong with any taco choice in Sacramento, but our personal favorites come from Chando’s, where every Tuesday you can score a prime price on a trio of tacos, chips, and a drink.

Wing Wednesday 🍗

Uncle Vito’s, 1800 15th St., 5 p.m.-12 a.m.

Come for the pizza or fried mac and cheese, stay for the half-priced wings every Wednesday — which come covered in your choice of Buffalo, garlic, or Thai chili sauce.

Thirsty Thursday 🍻

Usually, by this stage of the week, it’s time to rally your squad for a little happy hour bonding and pick-me-up over some cold beverages. Our happy hour guide has you covered with 18 places to score a drink deal for Thirsty Thursday.

Food Truck Friday 🚚

SactoMoFo, 722 Capitol Mall, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Every Friday, a new set of food trucks can be found at Capitol Mall for lunch, courtesy of local catering company SactoMoFo. Be sure to check the calendar to see who will be serving up food, along with other times and locations food trucks can be found.
