• State health officials announced Wednesday that access to COVID-19 testing + treatment centers would be expanded over the next two weeks, particularly for residents without health insurance. The California Department of Public Health will open 146 new “test to treat” sites across the state — there are currently 320+ sites within a  25 mile radius of downtown Sacramento. (KCRA 3)

• UC Davis is set to break ground on a new $579 million surgery center in Sacramento this fall.
