The 40-ft sculptures — located on the corners of Richards Blvd. and North 12th St. near Mirasol Village — were crafted by artist Vicki Scuri and are titled “Uplift.” Lighting will be installed in the coming weeks to welcome visitors to the city throughout the day.

The artworks follow the themes of metamorphosis and transformation, joining the city’s seven metamorphosis-themed public art projects funded by the Choice Neighborhood Initiative in partnership with the Sacramento Housing Redevelopment Agency.
