We here at SACtoday love a good live show, but what we don’t love is finding out that one of our favorite bands has come through the City of Trees days after the fact. With so many great music venues, it’s admittedly hard to keep up sometimes.

To make things a bit easier — and hopefully help you find a show you like — here’s a guide to Sacramento’s live shows for August broken down by genre, featuring everything from big-name artists like The Lumineers + Kendrick Lamar to local groups like Fashionista Boyfriend.
