‘Great Sacramento Clean-Up’ looking for volunteers

It’s a beautiful time to lend a hand.

City officials are asking for the community’s help in the Great Sacramento Clean-Up — an Earth Day initiative aimed at beautifying various locations around the City of Trees.

Interested in helping? Apply now to lend a hand at one of the 10 different locations, beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 22:

  • Del Paso Regional Park (4200 Park Rd.)
  • Granite Regional Park (8200 Ramona Ave.)
  • Matsui Park (450 Jibboom St.)
  • Miller Park (2701 Marina View Dr.)
  • North Laguna Trail (8600 W. Stockton Blvd.)
  • Robla Community Park (625 Bell Ave.)
  • Sacramento River Levee (1400 Front St.)
  • San Juan Reservoir Park (3320 West Witter Way)
  • William Chorley Park (7063 20th St.)
  • William Land Park (3853 18th St.)
