We know Sac’s food scene sizzles, but now it’s official. Several Sacramento-area restaurants landed coveted spots on Yelp’s 2025 Top 100 Places to Eat in the US. Let’s dig in — there’s a lot of delicious ground to cover.

Wally’s Cafe

This beloved Lebanese restaurant in Rocklin is no stranger to Yelp’s Top 100 list. The cafe has landed on the list several times over the years, and in 2025, it’s No. 6. Yelpers praise Wally’s pomegranate-marinated chicken shawarma, lamb kabobs, and tabbouleh. Oh, and save room for the homemade baklava ice cream.

Guy’s for Lunch

Coming in hot at No. 21, this Roseville shop is known for its sandwiches made on fluffy homemade bread (try the sourdough), salads, and soups. There’s a secret menu, too.

Pastosa By Lucia

This cozy Italian restaurant in Galt snagged the No. 36 spot on the list. On the menu, you’ll find homemade pastas, sauces, bread + tiramisu.

Genova Bakery

Down south in Stockton, this Italian deli doesn’t mess around when it comes to stacked sandwiches. Yelpers can’t seem to get enough of salami, turkey, or pastrami on the Dutch Crunch. The bakery was No. 39 on Yelp’s list.

Engawa Fusion

Securing the No. 95 spot, this Sacramento restaurant on Stockton Boulevard specializes in Japanese fusion cuisine like ramen and sushi tacos.

According to Yelp, California restaurants earned 37 spots on the list, the most of any state. Casual dining spots are having a moment, too — 80% of the places are priced at under $30 per person.
