A guide to Sol Blume Festival

Following a delay due to heavy rains, Sacramento’s biggest R&B music festival is upon us: Sol Blume begins tomorrow.

No need to stress over what to expect — we’re here to give you a complete guide to the festival, so you can dance all night and party all day.

🎤 The performers

More than 35 acts will grace the two-day event at Discovery Park. Some of the big names include:

  • Kehlani
  • Teyana Taylor
  • Brent Faiyaz
  • Ella Mai
  • Jessie Reyez

🚗 Getting to the show

Concertgoers will only be allowed to enter Discovery Park from the south side — at 140-170 Jibboom St.

There is no parking inside the festival grounds, but visitors can purchase a parking pass and walk from a nearby corporate center.

Guests can also use the all-day shuttle system to move to and from the park. Shuttles begin at 10:30 a.m. from the St. Joseph’s Jury Lot at Eighth and G streets. The last shuttle leaves Discovery Park 90 minutes after the last performer wraps up their set.

🍻 The experience

Music isn’t all there is to see. Between all the dancing, visitors can check out local food vendors, interactive art installations, games, and a roller rink (dubbed the Sol’r Rink).

Tickets for the event are still available, with general admission passes starting at $200 and VIP passes starting at $400. Pro tip: Save a few bucks (and a potential headache) by heading to DOCO and buying tickets in-person at the Sol Blume pop-up store.
