Cue Edward Elgar’s “Pomp & Circumstance March No. 1” — it’s graduation season. Sacramento State’s 2025 spring commencement ceremonies will be on Friday, May 16 + Saturday, May 17 at Golden 1 Center. This year’s graduating Hornets will certainly bee in good company — and we’re not just talking about famous Sac State alumni.
Earlier this spring, we asked SACtoday readers if they had attended Sac State, and 60% said yes. We asked those alumni to share their favorite memories from their college years, and here’s some of that sweet nostalgia.
