The multiphase project will cover a two-mile stretch of road.

The Broadway Complete Streets Project is now underway, geared towards making the historic roadway safer for all types of travelers.

You can stay streets ahead of the construction with these tips from the Greater Broadway District:

  • Construction takes place on weekdays, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Work stretches from 3rd to 24th streets; the project’s next phase will extend from 24th Street to Franklin Boulevard.
  • Traffic control is focused on one lane in each direction at a time, spanning 2-3 blocks per day.
  • No parking signs will be posted with 72 hour notice.

Residents with questions about the project can call (279) 236-3799, or send an email to BroadwayCompleteStreet@gmail.com.
