Last weekend was a great reminder of what’s to come — weather-wise. The greater Sacramento area saw anywhere from 0.45 inches to over an inch outside of the capital city, resulting in a flood advisory.

In preparation, the California Department of Water Resources appointed Oct. 21-28 as Flood Preparedness Week.
