2022 General Election results in Sacramento County

First things first, props to you for making your voice heard this year. 🗳️

You’ve done your civic duty + now you’re probably wondering who won the 2022 general election. So far, we know that Governor Gavin Newson was reelected and Proposition 28 passed, which will establish funding for K-12 music and art programs in California.

As of late Tuesday evening, about 15% of Sacramento County was reported. The County says its first interim report with mail-in and provisional ballots will be posted Friday, Nov. 11 at 4 p.m.

Additional reports will then be shared on Tuesdays and Fridays until certification, which must occur 30 days after Election Day (or by Thursday, Dec. 8 to be specific).

But don’t fret, it’s easy to follow along until then. If you want to join us during this watch party, head on over to Sacramento County’s election results summary.
