Finalist and runner-up Ecojoyous received $10,000 to help establish a Downtown refillery for its upcycled and handmade goods.

Previous Calling All Dreamers winners include local businesses Burnside Coffee Bar, Nash & Proper, and recently opened eatery Flora & Fauna Provisions.

Sacramento Pride recently dropped the dates for this year’s march and festival. Scheduled for Saturday, June 8 + Sunday, June 9, the event is the Sacramento LGBT Community Center‘s biggest community program of the year.

Every year, ~20,000 people fill the streets of Capitol Mall to catch live performances, grab some food + drink, and shop from a plethora of queer-owned and friendly vendors.

The lineup of performers is still being decided, and applications are open for entertainers to perform on one of the festival’s two premiere stages.

Tickets for Sacramento’s Pride March + Festival are on sale now, with early bird weekend passes starting at $20, or $12 for single day entry.

Want to be more than just a observer? You can get more involved via volunteering, sponsoring, and joining the march on Sunday.

Wow — Japan, Cabo, Greece, Guatemala, and Australia are just a handful of some of the places you all mentioned for your travel plans this year.

We also wanted to wish an early “Good luck + safe travels” to Cam R., who is traveling to Hawaii to compete in the Lavaman Triathalon this April. Way to represent Sacramento, Cam. 🙌

Do you have a good patio recommendation? Let me know. I’m on the hunt for a good selection as spring gets closer — so far, I really like the vibes at Hook & Ladder, Sibling, and Tower Cafe.
