🍔 We’ve got buns, hun

You have no idea how hungry we get writing these articles. | @mordgeld
Hungry? We are too — and there are few things we crave more than a tasty burger. Thankfully, Sacramento has no shortage when it comes to top-notch eateries.

We’ve rounded 25 burger joints around the Farm-to-Fork Capital for you to check out.

Burger Lounge | Locations vary | These burgers are made with grass-fed beef and can be ordered keto, gluten-free, plant-based, or made with non-dairy cheese.

LowBrau | 1050 20th St. | While it may be best-known for its various sausages, the LB Burger + its pretzel bun are not to be slept on.

Pangaea Bier Cafe | 2743 Franklin Blvd. | Pangaea’s signature burger has won the Sacramento Burger Battle multiple times, including in 2015, 2016, and 2018.

Burger Hub | 3315 Northgate Blvd., Ste. 8 | Looking for a burger joint with halal options? This place has you covered.

Meet & Eat | 3445 Freeport Blvd. | Snag a specialty burger like the Truffle Infusion Burger — made with truffle oil, arugula, bacon, and a sunny-side up egg.

Flaming Grill Cafe | 2380 Watt Ave. | You can get your burgers made from nontraditional meats like elk, gator, and even ostrich. Enough said.

Kely’s Crepes & Burgers | 8000 Auburn Blvd. | Can’t decide between breakfast + a burger? Grab the Louie Burger and enjoy bacon and an over-medium fried egg as toppings.

Squeeze Burger | 106 N. Sunrise Ave. | We can’t NOT include Squeeze Burger on this list. The cheese skirt of their namesake sandwich is iconic, having been deemed worthy by the mayor of Flavortown himself.

What to do if your home is flooded in Sacramento
    SACtoday_flooding

As wet weather continues to grip the Sacramento region, so do concerns of flooding, with the National Weather Service issuing a flood advisory for the area through Wednesday morning.

Sacramento County recently declared a State of Emergency, after the storm on Sunday, Feb. 4, caused upwards of $12 million in damages — including over 300 fallen trees, more than 100 downed transmission lines, and extended power outages for 200,000+ community members.

If your home has been affected by flooding, Sac County created a guide of everything you need to know when returning home after a flood.
    • Use extreme caution when entering buildings.
    • Check for gas leaks or damage to electrical systems.
    • Discard any food damaged by flood waters.
    • Clean and dry the building within 48 hours to help prevent mold.
