I can’t imagine a more beautiful thing.

We recently told you about the Coolest Thing Made in California contest held by the California Manufacturers & Technology Association, asking Golden State residents to nominate what they think is the greatest thing to come out of California. It turns out that may end up being a local treat.

Carmazzi Caramel Corn has made it to the top eight nominees, alongside innovations such as the James Webb Space Telescope, the Tesla Model Y, and Fender’s Telecaster guitar — that’s some pretty prestigious company.

Voting ends Thursday night, so if you think one of Sacramento’s tastiest treats deserves to take the top spot, make sure to cast your vote.
