We love local concerts, but you can’t have a show without a venue that rocks. From G1C to Ace of Spades, there’s a stage in the Sacramento area for any type of tune.

Golden 1 Center | With capacity for 17,608 fans, the home of the Sacramento Kings has also become the region’s premier arena for musical performances.

Sacramento Memorial Auditorium | What do Bob Dylan, Primus, The Rolling Stones, and Michael Bublé have in common? They’ve all performed at this venue, which holds 3,849 adoring fans.

Country in the Park | This country music fest attracts ~60,000 fans to Cal Expo and celebrated its 25th anniversary this past May. It will return for an encore — aka Country in the Park 2 — on Saturday, Sept. 13 with performances by Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Locash, Avery Anna, and Vincent Wilson. Wrangle your tickets.
The show must go on

If you’re excited about the new soccer stadium at the Railyards, you’ll dig this. Local politicians and Sacramento Republic FC leaders broke ground this week at the site of the team’s new $175 million stadium — a privately financed project 12 years in the making.

The venue is set to debut in 2027 with 12,000 seats for soccer fans, 17 luxury suites, and a 4,500-sqft team store — check out the latest renderings. It’s part of the broader redevelopment to transform the Railyards into a housing, retail, and live entertainment hub.

Republic FC says the new stadium will help the team plan for the future and may be just the ticket if they ever make the jump into Major League Soccer.

Pro tip: Fans can now place priority seating deposits for the 2027 season at Republic Stadium starting at $9.16well-played, right?
