A Red Flag Warning continues in Sacramento through 5 p.m. today for gusty winds + low humidity. Meanwhile, PG&E has been monitoring local counties for potential public safety power shut-offs (PSPS) all week; El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, and Yolo counties could be impacted by PSPS today. (ABC 10)

Official ballot drop boxes are open countywide through Tuesday, Nov. 5 for voters looking to drop off their ballots for the Presidential General Election. Vote center locations begin opening on Saturday, Oct. 26 — find the one closest to you before Election Day.
Arts
Sacramento’s Office of Arts and Culture opened the second round of its Creative Venues Grant program. The program offers 13 grants between $10,000 and $20,000 to independent, for-profit music venues, art galleries, comedy venues, and bookstores that support local artists. Applications are due by Monday, Oct. 28.
Coming Soon
The city will unveil a new art installation — “Hanami” — on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Robert T. Matsui Waterfront Park. The piece was created by local artists Jennifer Madden and Jeffrey Reed, inspired by the beauty of Japanese cherry blossoms and their fleeting bloom. Join the unveiling, 5:30-7 p.m.
Legacy
Rest in peace, Cleo. The Sacramento Zoo’s beloved lioness, Cleo, has died. Zoo officials said Cleo’s kidneys had been failing, impacting her comfort, appetite, and daily routine. The 19-year-old lioness arrived at the zoo 17 years ago and produced a litter of cubs with her longtime mate, the late Kamau. (ABC 10)
