Hey Kings fans, the ball’s in our court.
You guessed it — the Sacramento Kings 2023-2024 season tips off tonight at 7 p.m. against the Utah Jazz. Gear up for a loaded week of Kings spirit across the city, with the team’s first home game this Friday, Oct. 27 against the Golden State Warriors, at 7 p.m.

A quick 2022-23 season refresher
Sacramento finished 48-34 overall — their first 40-win season since 2005-2006.
The Beam Team claimed its first Pacific Division title since the 2002-2003 season.
The Kings broke the longest active playoff drought in American sports history after making the postseason for the first time since 2006.
De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis became the first Kings teammates to be selected to the All-NBA team in the same season.
Keegan Murray was named to the All-NBA Rookie team, and finished fifth in Rookie of the Year voting after the Kings selected him with the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Sports Illustrated summarized it as the Kings’ best season in almost 20 years.

Last weekend was a great reminder of what’s to come — weather-wise. The greater Sacramento area saw upwards of 1+ inches of rain in areas around the Capital City, resulting in a flood advisory.
In preparation, the California Department of Water Resources appointed Oct. 21-28 as Flood Preparedness Week.
Here’s a breakdown with the need-to-knows to stay afloat in an emergency:
