🔎 Exploring Sac’s must-see museums
The MOSAC has a variety of interactive exhibits. | Photo by SACtoday Staff
Museums are the cultural hubs of Sacramento. Whether you’re looking to learn something new about the City of Trees or plotting a way to spend your Saturday afternoon, here are some must-see museums in our city.
Science
SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity | $15-$18 This STEAM-centric (science, tech, engineering, art, and math) museum offers interactive exhibits for guests of all ages.
Arts
Crocker Art Museum | $8-$15 Since 1885, the Crocker has given visitors a chance to browse through the history of California artwork. It also contains a plethora of pieces from around the world.
Kids
Sacramento Children’s Museum | $3-$10 This hands-on learning museum caters to children ages 8 and younger, but is still a delight for visitors of all ages.
A pair of 14K gold plated heart hoops. The huggie-sized earrings are hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant. Psst — they’re also the perfect Valentine’s Day accessory.
So, how about them Kings? The team’s recent winning streak (forget the Bucks win) inspired “The Deuce & Mo” podcast to create this parody of Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” — complete with a “big purple beam” hook + visual effects. My favorite part: “Is The Beam OK? We’ve seen it every day.” I can’t stop giggling or singing.
