Beginning today, Dine Downtown returns to Sacramento for its 18th year. The annual celebration of restaurants offers special multicourse menus for $45 per person until Sunday, Jan. 22.

One dollar of every meal purchased will also go toward the Food Literacy Center, a nonprofit aimed at teaching cooking, nutrition, gardening, and more to children in low-income schools.

Check out the list of all 33 participating restaurants below, and click the links to view what they’ll be serving.

EAT
The last few bites at love
A rose next to a cheeseburger on a plate.
We don’t recommend putting the rose on the burger — it doesn’t taste as good as you’d think. | Photo by SACtoday Staff
Wow, I can’t believe we’re almost at the end of the Sac-helor. It’s a little crazy isn’t it? I spent the holidays reflecting and I’ve learned so much on this journey. Like what I want from a relationship (with food) and that I should eat less salt (sorry, doc).

One other thing I’ve come to realize is the importance of a burger’s fiscal responsibility. I don’t want a burger that’s going to break the bank every time I order it to the point that it demands all of my attention when it comes to spending an evening out.

With that in mind — here are our final four burger spots.

THE WRAP

Today’s issue was written by Jordan.

Editor’s pick: It’s tough picking a starting spot for Dine Downtown, but I think I have to go with Capitol Garage. That Irish beef stew on their menu really seems perfect with the current weather.
