The California State Fair will return to Cal Expo Friday, July 11-Sunday, July 27 with 17 days of exhibits, rides, competitions, fried fair food, and live music. Organizers have been unveiling the fair’s big summer concert lineup little by little and, of course, we’re taking notes to keep you tuned into every show.

  • Ludacris | Friday, July 11 | It’s Ludaaaa. The rapper and actor will kick off the fair’s concert series — stand up, get back, but don’t act a fool.
  • Bret Michaels | Saturday, July 12 | The Poison frontman is ready to rock and have “Nothing But a Good Time.”
  • Air Supply | Sunday, July 13 | Prep your power ballad pipes to sing along with the soft rock duo.
  • Blank Space: Taylor Swift Tribute | Monday, July 14 | Swifties, this one’s for you: Singer Olivia Mojica headlines this tribute to the pop star.
  • Happy Together Tour | Tuesday, July 15 | Catch those groovy Cali vibes with this Turtles tribute band.

  • Joe Nichols | Wednesday, July 23 | This award-winning country singer is known for hits like “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off.”
  • Tower of Power | Thursday, July 24 | The longtime funk + soul group are guaranteed to bring the energy.
  • O.A.R. | Friday, July 25 | The “Love and Memories” and “Shattered” rockers are sure to bring the energy.

Pro tip: All concerts start at 8 p.m. and are free with fair admission. Fans can start lining up at the back of the venue at 5 p.m. If you’d rather have reserved concert seats, splurge on those tickets for $45 a pop, separate from fair admission.
