Held Mon.-Wed. starting June 20, this camp lets kids ages 8-15 clamber high into the trees of the beautiful Heritage Oaks Park. With proper safety + harness instruction, they’ll learn to climb ropes, participate in team building activities, andexperience the thrill of zip lining.
Art is a universal language, and in this 12-day camp from July 11-28 — except Fridays — kids ages 5-10 will be exposed to the Spanish-speaking world through science, music + dance. They’ll also partake in Spanish conversation, and will learn how to read and write.
Tee time, anyone? Get your kids and teens ages 5-17 into the game of golf with either half or full-day camps Mon.-Thurs. starting June 6 at two golf courses around Sacramento: William Land + Bing Maloney. Led by certified PGA professionals, young golfers will learn the fundamentals of the game + course etiquette.
Expose your young scientists — from first through sixth grades — to STEAM learning in five half-day classes Mon.-Fri. starting June 6. In the Mad Science Lab, they’ll experiment with green glowing liquids, messages written in code, and autonomous robots.
There are even more summer camps — including options from the Sacramento Republic FC, Sacramento Theatre Company, and the Sacramento History Museum — to keep your kids engaged through the long days of summer.
