Honoring its origins as a Boardwalk hot dog stand that started in the 1940s, Parker’s has been cooking up dogs, chili + fries in the area for ~25 years.
Pro tip: If you’re feeling extra hungry — or just a little crazy — you can attempt their 5 lb chili cheese dog like City Editor Jordan did.

This no-muss, no-fuss hot dog joint known for its large servings is home to the Wonderdog — a 14-inch hot dog carefully laid onto a loaf of soft french bread.
Heads up: Pastrami dogs are currently not available due to pandemic-related shortages.
Serving up dogs to hungry college students since 1984, The Hotdogger is open late into the night seven days a week so Aggies can gobble up their locally-sourced franks + buns.
Pro tip: They can also be found at the Davis Farmer’s Market from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturdays.
