Editor’s pick: Hello, Sacramento. I’m National Content Editor Jessalin and I work for SACtoday’s parent company 6AM City, and support all the newsletter products — including San Jose (SJtoday) and San Diego (SDtoday). So, you may see me around from time to time.
Most of my knowledge of Sacramento comes from SACtoday, of course, and my Sacramentan friend whose childhood pet was a tortoise. Though it’s illegal in California to own tortoises as pets, his family acquired it prior to 1972 — making Cupcake the tortoise a valid member of the family. 🐢
