Light the beam and the memes

Golden 1 Center’s victory beam inspires plenty of memes

If you know the person who made this meme, give them our thanks. | Posted by u/Forkedtongue_Tron
Golden 1 Center’s new victory beam has become a big talking point around town — especially with how hot the Kings are playing lately. But, of course, our favorite thing to come out of all this success is the memes.

Between getting excited over the team’s record, empathizing with what it must be like for those who live near the arena, and the many, many memes about firing the laser, there’s a lot to laugh about. However, what possibly reigns above all is when the Small Ball Podcast paid $179 for the Island Boys to sing a song about the team on Cameo. Kings — hire those boys for a halftime performance.
