Here are some you shouldn’t miss:
  • 2608 59th St. | Paint me like one of your dead girls. We would like to think that Bob Ross came back as a skeleton for this painterly display of spiders, ghosts and bones — be sure to stop by the home’s little mini gallery stocked with locally made art before moving on to the next location. 💀
  • 2115 H St. | The red nose of death. Not for the faint of the heart, this carnival of souls in Midtown features undead clowns and the most death-defying tightrope walker we’ve ever seen. 🎪
  • 1216 39th St. | Does anyone else hear that clock? Bring the horror of “Stranger Things” to life with this ambitious recreation of a scene from season four. 🕰️

While it may seem too early to be talking about Christmas, Sac Brew Bike‘s popular tour of the Fab 40s’ Christmas lights has recently lit up with available dates throughout December — and tickets are going fast.

The family-friendly cruise offers a group of up to 15 riders the chance to see the perennially-popular holiday displays of East Sac all while drinking hot cocoa and singing carols from the comfort of a large communal bike. Pro tip: You can never go wrong picking up a few cups of Ginger Elizabeth’s award-winning hot chocolate before your journey begins.

Unlike traditional rides from Sac Brew Bike, this 90-minute tour does not allow alcohol outside of an optional stop at a bar midway through for a quick drink and bathroom break. Want to book a ride for you and your family?
PEDAL TO IT
THE WRAP

Today’s issue was written by Matt.

Editor’s pick: I’m loving that we have not one but two Sacramentans in the World Series: Rhys Hoskins with the Philladelphia Phillies and Dusty Baker as the manager for the Houston Astros. I want to grab a bottle of Dusty’s wine and toast both of them — although I might be more in favor of the Astros as that was the name of the Little League team I played on.
